I have been drinking vinegar for over 18 months, every day after i decided to do more research on the effects of vinegar! Today that's all I drink! 1. what is your daily calorie intake? Very few people know this!
To demistify the myth of diets, our weight changes many times of the day, and if you do not exercise to burn excess calories, then they will be delivered to the fat depot of your body, for a day when you wake up!!! Your over eating of calories, is actually telling your brain & body, you are planning to hibernate, or becoming inactive for a very long period!
I am a fitness fanatic who as been athletic for over 38 years, and a professional trainer in survival and my own mind and body gets the same signals as anyone else, if and when I stop training, then I am hibernating, my weight can climb 30 kg over a year, if it wasn't for my understanding of the mechanics of my own body. and the fact I know a damaged liver, and my age, doesn't help, ones metabolic burn rate decreases at 1% a year, and calorie intake should also be decreased. But living in the world of cheap food, wonderful ice cream, and beer, well say no more!

This will determine your basic calorie intake, to keep you alive, and doesn't include any activity, other than sleep, out from this calorie intake, you can control, what you eat. But what we want to prove is that does vinegar work, right!
I can assure you it does, last year due to an injury I had to stop training for over 12 months, in this time I was still eating what i normally eat every day, and my weight increased from 80kg to 98.kg I am very muscular, but small at 173cm, this extra weight just had to come off, So I started drinking vinegar, every day, approx 3ltrs a day and different flavours, but still after 3 months my weight wasn't moving more than a half kilo in this time.
The reason for this was not because of the vinegar, but because of my eating habits, being very unstable, sometimes eating through the night and I also drank alchohol, I didn't wish to change my eating habits too drastically, and no way would i ever give up my 3 cans of beer a week.
I was well aware of the fact that i had to increase my exercise, so that my heart beat was increased to a level, where fat burning was optimised for my age and weight. at 56 years of age and weighing 98kg, would have been fatal to go straight out into my old ways of running 8km a day. But I knew, by increasing my heart beat by 45% would place me in the fat burning level. This is equal to a very fast walk, not a jog, or a run, for 30 minutes a day,
This is when i could see the vinegar working at its best, for 38 years of training, In the past I have never before been able to lose more than 1 pound per week, by running. That is to say I train for 9 months of the year, and take 3 months free, so for 38 years, over a 3 month period every past year i have taken weight on, So I know just how and what my body loses, when I do eventually start training.
I could never lose more than a 1 pound a week, running 8km on alternate days the past 38 times, I returned to my training. This time i was finding it more difficult to get started, I was 18kg over weight and 8kg, more than i normally took on at this period, which I believe was due to Whey protien powder. My advice is not to take protien powder, If you look around the gym, you can see those people taking it, they are quite big, they have muscle, but no muscle definition, because the powder bulks you up, makes you look fat. I was feeling depressed and had to make the effort, to burn all the extra calories, which i did.
Middle of December 2005, I made the effort to walk 30 minutes every day at a fast pace maintaining my pulse rate in the fat burn area and drinking lots of vinegar, while walking, never before in my 38 years, have I lost so much weight so fast, 1kg a week, is unbelievable, to date I have lost 13kg and I have proved to myself, that the vinegar enhanced my metabolic rate, by more than double, at my age.
I have decided to give up the body building and continue to reduce down to a weight of 74kg and 31 inch waist. which i have done before, So my food must be well balanced, because I must also shed muscle weight, and fat.
I continue to train on alternate days yet drink vinegar all day every day, and take it on my runs, although I am now back to my old running routine of 8km, my blood pressure is back to normal and I have a heart beat of 50 per minute, I feel like I am re-born.
I have scanned all the diets on the market, like the South beach, Abs, and the Zone and i smile to myself, and think what gimmicks, tricksters, that never tell the real facts, of course these diets will work, for a very short time, before the weight comes back on.
But why do without carbohydrates and fruit, like with South beach!!!! In fact why diet?, when all you have to do is balance your body with drinking vinegar. and gain a little knowledge of how it should be done, without shock treatments.
The fact is, there is only one way to lose weight, eat less calories, or increase your activity level!!!
If you want to lose fat only, cut out your carbohydrates, from white bread, potatoes, and rice, for a period of time, there is enough good carbs in veg, to provide your carb requirements.
you can eat full grain bread, you must drink vinegar because it is a vital element of the citric acid cycle and your metabolism, it enhances your metabolic rate to burn calories, but it does not become effective until you increase your heart beat, to your individual fat burn level, approx 45% of your maxium heart beat, no need to run!!!. even doing step ups will increase your heart beat.
A rule of thumb when walking, no matter what age, you can only do what you can do comfortably, but you must sweat, when you begin to sweat, you should be in your fat burning zone, keep it there for a short while, 5 to 10 minutes and increase to 30 minutes over a longer period of time, if you are over 40 years old and have never done active training.

Remember your weight can change as much as 2kg throughout the day, so weigh yourself at the same time every day, the first 3 to 4 kg lost will only be liquid, ones skin pores are like a sponge, and store water, for survival situations, basically your body belives you are hibinating like a bear, because you have stopped activity.
All your diets are scams, believe me, they are only half trueths and work short term, like i said, the first 3 to 4 kg will be water, because the water from the fruits and foods are absorbed. If I rate any of the 3 diets, I would go for the Abs diet. because this is very good, but again, it is not truthful! You cannot target areas, for weight loss, when you lose weight, its from all parts of the body, all though you are giving your abs a good workout, which they need.
Think of your body as a car, it needs the right fuel, fuel is energy, If you are a sports car, you need high grade energy fuel and lots of calories, because calories are energy.
Your output activity is equal to Kilo watt or horse power, your burning energy, but are you a sports car, or a mini. The right mixture of energy needs to go into the right car!
